Workshop on Modernizing Laboratory Manuals for Practical Learning

The Program Self-Assessment Committee (PSAC) of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), in collaboration with the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), GUB, is pleased to announce the successful completion of the full-day faculty workshop titled:

“Hackathon on Modernizing Laboratory Manuals for Practical Learning”

held on 17 May 2026 at A-501 & A-502.

The workshop was organized as part of the department’s continuous quality improvement initiatives and ongoing preparation activities for BAC accreditation. The event brought together faculty members from the Departments of CSE and FSE in a collaborative effort to improve the quality, structure, standardization, and practical effectiveness of laboratory manuals for enhanced student learning outcomes and hands-on educational experiences.

We are honored to have had the insightful keynote session delivered by Prof. Dr. Md. Saiful Azad, Professor, Department of CSE and Dean, FSE, GUB, on BAC accreditation, Outcome-Based Education (OBE), and the modernization of practical learning resources. The workshop was chaired by Prof. Mr. Syed Ahsanul Kabir, Associate Professor & Chairperson, Department of CSE, GUB.

The Accreditation Committee sincerely appreciates the active participation, cooperation, and valuable contributions of all faculty members, which made the workshop productive, engaging, and impactful. The collaborative discussions and outputs generated during the sessions will significantly contribute to the department’s academic development and accreditation preparation efforts.
