The Program Self-Assessment Committee (PSAC) of the Department of EEE, in collaboration with the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), GUB, is pleased to inform you of the successful completion of the workshop titled "Workshop on Curriculum Development and Course File Management", held on 11 May, 2026 at E-104.

The session commenced with a warm and inspiring welcome address by Dr. Md. Hasan Maruf, Honorable Chairperson, Department of EEE, GUB, who emphasized the critical importance of such capacity-building workshops in ensuring systematic curriculum development and effective course file management. He highlighted that well-structured academic documentation and thoughtful curriculum design are fundamental to sustaining quality education and achieving successful accreditation outcomes.

Following the opening remarks, the keynote speaker, Dr. Ratil Hasnat Ashique, Associate Professor, Department of EEE, EWU, delivered a comprehensive and insightful presentation on the key components of BAETE Criterion 6: Curriculum and Teaching–Learning Processes. His session thoroughly covered curriculum design and periodic review mechanisms, effective CO–PO mapping strategies, structured preparation and maintenance of course files, lesson planning techniques, development of assessment rubrics, implementation of continuous quality improvement processes, documentation of laboratory and project-based learning activities, and the evidences typically expected by evaluators during accreditation visits. The session was highly interactive, enriched with practical examples and real-world insights, which provided clear and actionable guidance for strengthening outcome-based education practices and academic documentation standards.

The workshop concluded with a gracious vote of thanks delivered by Prof. Dr. Khawza Iftekhar Uddin Ahmed, Honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor, GUB, who expressed sincere appreciation to the keynote speaker for his valuable contributions and extended heartfelt gratitude to all participants for their active engagement and commitment to making the workshop both meaningful and fruitful.
