The Program Self-Assessment Committee (PSAC) of the Department of EEE, in collaboration with the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), GUB, is pleased to inform you of the successful completion of the workshop titled "Workshop on Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Process, Practice and Management", held on 12 May, 2026 at E-104.

The session commenced with an opening address by Dr. Md. Hasan Maruf, Honorable Chairperson & Associate Professor, Department of EEE, GUB, who underscored the significance of embedding a strong Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) culture within the department. He highlighted that systematic monitoring, documentation, and data-driven decision-making are essential not only for successful BAETE accreditation under Criterion 9, but also for sustaining long-term academic excellence and institutional accountability.

The keynote speaker, Dr. Ratil Hasnat Ashique, Associate Professor, Department of EEE, EWU, then delivered a comprehensive and insightful presentation on BAETE Criterion 9: Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI). His discussion focused on the structured implementation of continuous improvement mechanisms, including systematic collection and analysis of assessment data, CO–PO attainment evaluation, identification of performance gaps, formulation of action plans, and documentation of corrective and preventive measures. He further elaborated on stakeholder feedback integrationencompassing students, alumni, employers, and faculty, along with evidence-based decision-making processes, monitoring the effectiveness of implemented actions, and preparation of supporting documents typically expected during accreditation visits.

The session was highly interactive and practical, providing clear guidance on how to transform assessment outcomes into measurable improvements and how to maintain robust CQI documentation aligned with accreditation standards. The workshop concluded with a note of appreciation extended to the keynote speaker and all participating faculty members for their active engagement and commitment to strengthening the department’s continuous quality enhancement practices.
